    • Discussion: Differences between strategy and planning.

    • Activity: Identify strategies from well-known organizations.

  • Module 2: Strategic Management Process

    • Overview of the 7-Step Process.

    • Focus: Vision, Mission, and Values.

    • Workshop: Draft vision and mission statements for participants’ organizations.

  • Module 3: Analyzing the Environment

    • Tools: SWOT Analysis, Porter’s 5 Forces, and PEDESTL Framework.

    • Activity: Conduct a SWOT analysis for a sample organization.

  • Module 4: Competitive Advantage

    • Exploring cost leadership, differentiation, and market strategies.

    • Case Study: Analysis of IKEA's cost leadership.

Day 2: Strategic Execution and Alignment

  • Day 1 Recap and Reflections

  • Module 5: Setting Strategic Goals

    • Linking objectives to KPIs and targets.

    • Workshop: Develop SMART objectives based on individual business challenges.

  • Module 6: Action Planning

    • Criteria for effective action plans.

    • Activity: Create departmental initiatives and align them with strategic goals.

  • Module 7: Leadership and Strategic Execution

    • Roles of leadership in strategy implementation.

    • Group Discussion: Barriers to strategy execution and overcoming resistance.
